This beautiful and exciting adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic book tells the tale of fifteen-year-old Davie Balfour, left orphaned and penniless when his father is killed during a storm. Before he dies, Davie's father gives him a dagger and, hinting at dark family secrets, tells him that the only way to survive is to claim his rightful inheritance from an unknown uncle. On his subsequent quest for justice, Davie learns that the world is complicated, heroes are not always what they seem and that the difference between right and wrong is far from black and white.
